DOCUmation Awarded Trinity University Contract

DOCUmation brings full-service managed printing solutions and student internships to Trinity University

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — DOCUmation, a local and family-owned technology solutions company specializing in IT, print, VoIP, and software-managed services, is delighted to announce its new partnership with Trinity University. Through this innovative collaboration, DOCUmation and Trinity University aim to fortify printing security, streamline printing processes, cater to specialized printing requirements, and alleviate staff maintenance responsibilities.

The decision to select DOCUmation follows an extensive Request for Proposal (RFP) review process that evaluated four vendors for managed services printing and an additional six for specialty printing. Throughout this comprehensive assessment, Trinity University focused on prioritizing the features and requirements that matter most to its community, including ease of use, convenience, security, availability, and capability.

“Our partnership with Trinity University marks a significant milestone in our mission to provide cutting-edge technology solutions to organizations that fuel the communities we serve,” said Robby Brown, DOCUmation Executive Vice President. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with a prestigious institution like Trinity University, aligning our expertise in managed print services and technology solutions with their commitment to excellence in education.”

The partnership also includes the creation of a new internship program open to students across multiple disciplines–including sales, accounting, and marketing to create more opportunities to gain valuable career experience. The services provided by DOCUmation will eliminate the charges of standard office printing, enhance security, and provide faculty and staff with on-site support for printer issues.

“I believe this partnership with DOCUmation is an important part of our overall technology transformation program. It enhances our ability to deliver printing services to our users at a higher quality, with a lower cost and with better security,” said Ben Lim, Chief Information Officer for Trinity University. “Additionally, the collaborative nature of the relationship will allow Trinity to be flexible in our operation, allowing us to re-invest our resources appropriately in support of Trinity’s goals and objectives.”

DOCUmation will begin installing equipment on the campus later this year. Specialty printing services will transition fully to DOCUmation in January 2024.
